Biography
Terry was born on September 13, 1941 in Milltown, Indiana to George Leroy Kehrer, Jr. and Evelyn Eunice (Heidorn) Kehrer. He has one brother, Samuel Leroy Kehrer. He attended Milltown Public School and graduated Valedictorian of his class in 1959. He attended Purdue University and received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University in 1964. He then attended Naval Reserve Officer Candidate School in Newport Rhode Island and was commissioned Ensign in the US Naval Reserve. He was assigned as a Line Officer to the Weapons Department aboard the USS America CVA 66 and qualified as an Officer of the Deck in port and underway. After leaving the Navy in 1967, He was employed as an Electrical Engineer at the Naval Ordnance Station in Louisville, Kentucky and worked there for 27 years attaining the position of Supervisory Engineer. He received a Master of Engineering with a Specialty in Engineering Management from The University of Louisville in 1982. After retiring from the Naval Ordnance Station in 1994, he and his wife Wanda and operated Rainbow Real Estate in Georgetown, Indiana from 1983 to the present. He married Wanda Diane Funkhouser on December 7, 1968. They have two children: Darren Lee (wife Nancy) and Brian Lee (wife Lauren). They also now have two grandchildren: Carson Philip and Colin Lee. They belong to Tunnel Hill Christian Church, Georgetown, Indiana. Terry is an Elder in the Church. His hobbies and activities include Amateur Radio (WB9UTE), fishing, camping, model trains, and music (keyboard).

Masonic History

Free and Accepted Masons of Indiana

PPetitioned in March of 1969. Initiated as an Entered Apprentice, passed to a Fellow Craft and then raised to the Sublime Degree of a Master Mason on May 23, 1969. Served as Master of Georgetown No. 480 F&AM in 1974, 1980, 2013 and 2014. Served as Chaplin in 2015-16-17. Currently serving as Chaplin.

Scottish Rite
Became a 32 Degree Mason through the Valley of Evansville AASR NMJ, Indiana in 1997. Belong to the Kosair Shriners in Louisville, Ky., and the Tri-County Shrine Club. In 2016, joined the new Valley in Corydon, In., Valley of George Rogers Clark, Corydon, Indiana and currently serving as Executive Secretary of the Valley of George Rogers Clark.

York Rite
Joined the New Albany York Rite in 1995 Was exalted Royal Arch Mason in 1995, as a Select Master in 1995, and Knighted as a Knight Templar in 1995. Served as High Priest of New Albany Chapter No. 17 in 2001, 2006, 2007. Served as Illustrious Master of Indiana Council No. 1 in 2002 and 2003. Served as Commander of New Albany Commandery No 5 in 2000 and 2004. Served as Treasurer of all bodies 2013-2016. Received the Chapter Distinguished Companion Award in 2008 and the Commandery Distinguished Service Award in 2000. Currently serving as Guard in the Chapter, and Steward in the Council


Grand Chapter
Royal Arch Deputy in 2002-2003. Received the High Priest of the Year Award in 2001. Grand Chapter Representative to Brazil.

Grand Commandery
Served as a Deputy Battalion Commandery in 2001, 2002, and 2003. Appointed to the Indiana Grand Commandery Line as Grand Sentinel in 2010 and progressing through the Grand Line, was elected Grand Junior Warden in 2013, Grand Senior Warden in 2014, Grand Captain General in 2015, Grand Generalissimo in 2016. Currently serving as the Deputy Grand Commander and as the Representative to North Carolina Grand Commandery.

Yeoman of York
Joined the New Albany Yeomen of York Preceptory No. 7 in 2000 and progressed to the office of Knight Director General of Indiana in 2013. Currently serving as Recorder of New Albany Yeomen of York Preceptory No. 7

Grand Yeoman of York
Appointed to Grand Line in 2015. Elected as Grand Director General of the Indiana Grand Yeomen of York in 2017 and currently serving in this office.

Allied Masonic Degrees
Received the Allied Masonic Degrees through the Constitutional Elm 471 in 2013 at Corydon, Indiana. Priory
Received the Holy Royal Arch Knight Templar Priest through St Andrews No. XXXV in 2012.
